Are you writing a book, or dreaming about it? Want to learn more about publishing from professionals in the Philly industry? We have you covered in our BSR Book Week panel event on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 6:30pm ET.
This conversation is open to all writers, no matter where you are in your book journey, as well as all book lovers who want a look behind the scenes. We’ll begin with short presentations from our panelists, who include Xio Axelrod (bestselling author of The Girl with Stars in Her Eyes and Girls with Bad Reputations), award-winning author and literary agent extraordinaire Eric Smith (You Can Go Your Own Way, With or Without You), Quirk Books editor Jess Zimmerman, Lanternfish Press editorial director Christine Neulieb, and Gabrielle Sellei, expert in copyright law and publishing contracts at Sellei Law.
Then, we’ll open for a lively Q&A with our panelists. Bring your burning questions and join a community of book-lovers. PLUS: We’ll be announcing the winner of our Book Week giveaway of HOUSEMATES, the new novel by Emma Copley Eisenberg, out on May 28 (you do not have to be present to win).
This session will be recorded and made available to everyone who registers, so you can join us live or later. Registration is a suggested $20 donation to BSR for the general public, and free for our writers and Friends of BSR (our monthly donors). Our Friends attend BSR events for free year-round and get other perks, previews, and discounts, so it’s a great time to join the ranks (starting at just $5/month). Our donors directly support the work of our writers and editors.
While you wait for the panel, don’t miss our exciting lineup of Philly-focused book reviews, going live for Book Week, June 2-8, 2024! Join us, and get excited about Philly’s stellar literary community.
