Jessica Lévai (The Night Library of Sternendach) will read virtually during the British Fantasy Society’s Golden Jubilee Celebration.
About the Event
The British Fantasy Society invites you to join us in celebrating our Golden Jubilee with a full day online event on 26th February 2022. We have a range of panels, lined up, an exciting author interview, and a selection of readings. Participants will be announced between now and the event. The day will conclude with an open mic session, where attendees are invited to read a short (5 minutes) excerpt from their own work. Below is the draft schedule, which is subject to change.
This event is free for BFS members and £5 for everyone else. We look forward to welcoming you to the event.
About the Book
Kunigunde is destined to become the next in a long line of Heller clan vampire hunters—but her soul is drawn to books, poetry, and the vampire Graf. Set in 1960s Europe, The Night Library of Sternendach is an unabashedly melodramatic opera-in-sonnets that weaves a sweeping, suspenseful tale readers won't be able to put down.
About the Author
Jessica Lévai has loved stories and storytellers for as long as she can remember. After a PhD in Egyptology and eight years as a professor of Anthropology, she dedicated herself to writing full time. She lives near Boston with her husband and two kids.
